Talks

Elasticsearch Clusters on Azure

Chris Earle - Elastic (http://elastic.co)

Chris Earle is a Support Engineer at Elastic with years of experience working with Elasticsearch, both before joining the company and afterward while supporting customers. At Elastic, he is the official Elasticsearch Groovy client developer, but his primary role is supporting customers that want to use the ELK platform. He has worked with numerous customers that are successfully deploying on Azure, AWS, bare metal, and other infrastructures.

Erik Zigman - Microsoft (http://microsoft.com)

Erik Zigman is a Partner Development Manager for Microsoft with over 20 years of experience designing, building and operating large internet scale online services. At Microsoft, he has run all of MSN engineering, adCenter behavioral ad targeting and most recently, developed the data platform that runs Application Insights – where he’s leverages a number of OSS technologies, including ElasticSearch, on the Azure cloud service. A Seattle transplant from the Midwest, he’s an avid Sounders fans but shamefully is still a Browns and Indians fan.
