We have had quite a year in 2018!! Several people completing their first ever triathlon, some first time open water swims, first races at new distances, and some PRs.
Lets get together and celebrate our accomplishments.
Scott "Scooter" Babbitt has offered to bring hot dogs, we will be bringing a side dish.
Please bring a small dish to share potluck style. Please add what you plan to bring in the comments.
We will fire up the charcoal grill and bring a propane stove.
For those of you planning to swim (optional): a brightly colored swim cap, a buoy for safety and a wet suit are all highly recommended. The wet suit is especially helpful as the water is getting colder but people are still swimming without them.early in the season but is not necessary. Please arrive at 5:45 to sign waivers and listen to the safety briefing.
*** RSVP's and Electronic Waivers will be checked at 5PM, RSVP's will be closed at that time, anyone who comes and didn't RSVP will need to sign the paper waiver upon arrival, no exceptions!! The more paper waiver signatures that need to be gathered the longer it takes for the host to be ready! SO SIGN UP EARLY AND SIGN THE ELECTRONIC WAIVER!! ***
Please post in the comments below how far you are looking to swim and feel free to ask any questions.
In order to participate in any SGLTG event, you must sign a waiver. Paid members must sign the paid member waiver once per year. Non-paid members must sign a non-member waiver for every event that they attend. In hopes of expediting the waiver process at each event, please sign your waivers electronically by using the following link --
-- Again, if you’re a paid member you will need to log in and sign the waiver ONLY once for 2018, if not then there is a separate link on that page for the non-paid members waiver.
