Stationary Trainer Rides for Everyone
Between the dark, and rain, it can be difficult to get together for group rides during the winter. Scott is doing great things with Zwift, thanks, Scott! But I still miss getting together with my team mates IRL. To that end, I have arranged to use the patio of Peddler Brewing Company do do stationary trainer rides.
They are for everyone, as anyone with a bike and a trainer can join, and ride at their own pace, without being dropped. Looking for HIIT? Join us. Need a long, base mile ride? Come on down. Training for a half or full? Come log the hours! Heck, even if you don't have a trainer, come on down, and encourage anyone who is riding. If you are new to the group, you don't even have to ride. Come and ask the more experienced members tri-related questions. I would love the distraction. Don't have a babysitter for the young ones? Peddler's patio is family friendly. See, for everyone!
As the patio can be uneven, it is best to bring scrap cardboard, or something similar to level your trainer.
There are a couple of food options close by. And a recovery beer sounds pretty good to me. Join me!
In order to participate in any SGLTG event, you must sign a waiver. Paid members must sign the paid member waiver once per year. Non-paid members must sign a non-member waiver for every event that they attend. In hopes of expediting the waiver process at each event, please sign your waivers electronically by using the following link and make sure you select the proper event --
-- Again, if your a paid member you will need to log in and sign the waiver ONLY once for 2018, if not then there is a separate link on that page for the non-paid members waiver.
