Come practice your race day nutrition and hydration, and get in a 56 mile bike ride. I like these rides, as they simulate the constant riding of race day.
The only thing you need to bring is your bike, nutrition and hydration, and a willingness to suffer. A trainer tire is best. Bring a spare tube if you have one. Contact Peter at Sound Training and Racing, or myself, if you have any questions. Cost is $60, tax included. There are 10 spots open total, so sign up soon, and don't miss out.
IM 70.3 Puerto Rico (sim) Description
The IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Rico bike course is a flat, fast course on mostly smooth roads that are littered with iguana road-kill. Literally you are more likely to hit an iguana than a pothole.
This can be a hot, humid ride, so nutrition and cooling strategies play an important role in having a successful race. The run can be extremely hot!
TOTAL DISTANCE: 56.65 miles (~90Km)
