I want to welcome everyone who is unsure of their bike skills to come out and get a 10 mile no-drop ride (we will go as slow as the slowest rider est. 5-12 miles/hour) along the Burke Gilman Trail -- from Matthews Beach to Log Boom Park and back. Before we ride, we will go over some group riding etiquette and things to practice to gain confidence as well as try to answer any questions you might have.
This ride is to help the beginner or the un-sure rider gain confidence in their riding ability so that they feel confident in joining in on a SMILE / Centennial / BALLS or HTFU Ride or any other ride out there. We've all been there at the beginning and know what it is like to not know or not go because we DON'T want to hold the group back.

Wheels down at 9 am so please arrive early to be ready to ride at 9am.
The SGLTG waiver is in full force here, so RSVP & sign the waiver beforehand... electronic waivers will be checked 2 hours before the ride starts to insure that your event host has time to check the electronic waiver sheets before they leave for the ride -- IF YOU SIGN THE ELECTRONIC WAIVER IN THIS 2 HOUR WINDOW, YOU WILL HAVE TO SIGN THE PAPER WAIVER TOO!
To sign the online waiver go to http://sgltg.org/2019-waiver/ and either sign in if your a paid member or choose the un-paid waiver and select this event name and date to participate. Paper waiver will be available for last minute RSVPs or those that do not sign the electronic waiver but everyone will need to have either been checked off with an electronic waiver or a paper waiver signature. Paid membership is $10 per year and gets you WAY more than just only having to sign the electronic waiver once per year.
