Does the regular HTFU sound too scary? Or you just can’t make the ride on Tuesdays? Come to the little brother of HTFU. We do a short warm up, then ride some steep, but shorter hills. They average about 10% grade, but some sections are up to 15%. The beginning rotation is on quiet residential streets with low traffic. Because of this, each rider can do whatever portion of the hill they feel able to. We will do as many hills as we can in about 40 minutes, typically around 4-5 to start. B ut if you can only do a couple, come join us and get better! The easy hills will be 2-3 minutes of climbing. Longer versions will be 4-6 minutes each, but we can build to them.
HTFU Mini Me is designed to build strength into your legs without being as daunting as the regular HTFU rides. This is more short interval training than long hill climbs.
Bring your low gears, and can do attitude, and we will get stronger together.
*MUY IMPORTANTE* make sure that your bike is in good working order and there is plenty of life left in your brake pads. Can not stress this enough...Check your gear BEFORE coming out! Lights are recommended, properly working brakes are mandatory, and will be checked before you can join the ride.

Non-paid members must sign a non-member waiver for every event that they attend. I know that triathlon (swimming/biking/running) and participating in SGLTG events are potentially hazardous activities. I should not participate in group activities unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with triathlon and participating in SGLTG events including but not limiting to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the various courses and routes, water conditions including but not limited to temperature and visibility, and such risk being known and appreciated by me.
