Ever since Captain Andrew started the Wednesday Night Run in November 2014, we've never canceled a run, and tonight will be no different. (It'll be our 199th consecutive weekly run!).
However, the air quality is still terrible, so we've created a very very short special route for us tonight, which we're calling Fremont Gardens.
It's just 0.25 miles in length with an elevation gain of 20 feet. As usual, we'll start at the Brooks Trailhead in Fremont. From there, we'll loop around the block featuring two gardens: Urban Earth Nursery to the north, and finishing at the beer garden at Fremont Brewing, our usual post-run hangout (all ages welcome & non-alcoholic beverages available!).
We meet at Brooks starting at 5:15pm, with the run starting around 5:30pm. Patrick will be the only host in attendance tonight, as co-hosts Yaozer & Chris are both out this week.
(The air quality is forecasted to be a little better this evening, so if you want to come and run for longer and join us afterward, feel free! However, since Patrick is the only host attending tonight, he's only leading the short route.)
