Please join us for our newest trail run: a 8 to 18 mile adventure on scenic Taylor River Trail to Otter Falls and Snoqualmie Lake!
Those running 8-miles will turn at the Otter Falls boot path (4 to 4.5 miles). A brief detour will reward you with views of a 1,200 foot waterfall.
Those running 16-18 will continue on the trail into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness and untouched forest, arriving at Snoqualmie Lake & Deer Lake after 8 to 9 miles.
This is a great course for all levels, because the first part is relatively flat and less technical, while most of the 2700' gain comes after the Otter Falls junction. Check out the course map!
We start at the Taylor River Trailhead (parking lot) at 10. Those interested in carpooling should meet at Greenlake / 65th St Park and Ride at 8:45am. Or you can meet us directly at the Trailhead.
I created the Meetup map pin so it is up-to-date. You can also follow the Google Map pin directly at https://goo.gl/maps/rXXDJRhY2sB2 - the current parking lot is a few hundred meters before the actual TH.
Finally, a NW Forest Pass is required.
See you on Sunday!
