A strong interview (or many interviews) are critical to getting your next job offer, but many highly qualified people can fall short during job interviews. Without persuasive stories, structured communication, and a cohesive message - that you control, not the interviewer - it can be difficult or impossible to receive an offer.
During this session, I will share best practices and things to avoid from my experience interviewing hundreds of candidates for product management and consulting roles. Also, I will ask a mock interview question and grade the response for any brave volunteers.
NOTE: the focus of this session is behavioral interview questions (i.e. "tell me about a time that you did...."). I will discuss high level strategy for case questions and technical questions, but there won't be mock questions. That said, the content of this session is still relevant to any interview in business-focused industries.
This session is free. This meeting is NOT sponsored by the Seattle Public Library.
