Hello Seattle Kubernauts!
It is summertime in Seattle and we are pleased to invite you to the July meetup.
Our first presenter this month is Illya Chekrygin. He recently gave a talk at KubeCon EU in Barcelona and we now have the opportunity to see him live without crossing an ocean.
Kubernetes did a great job implementing a rich and flexible scheduler for Pods. In this talk, Illya will explore the options and possibilities when it comes to scheduling Kubernetes Pods across multiple clusters. In addition, he will examine the benefits, pitfalls, and future for extending the Kubernetes scheduler to Multi-Cloud managed resources and workloads beyond traditional Kubernetes Deployments and Stateful Sets.
Ramesh from Windocks will then take us through "Windows SQL Server Containers with Kubernetes.". This presentation will focus on SQL Server containers with K8s, and on how organizations are modernizing full stack dev/test. He will also discuss how SSRS containers are applied for scalable support for AWS RDS and SQL Azure.
SPONSORED: A big thank you to Upbound for hosting the group this month, and to NetApp for ongoing support of this meetup group.
