Welcome eager performer! We all look forward to hearing you play! Important: Before submitting your RSVP for this Meetup, please refer to the How It Works ( page for masterclass process and details. Performer's Meetup: This Meetup is intended for players and performers. If more than 5 performers/ensembles rsvp, we can start as early as 6pm and still play until 9pm. If you'd like to attend this Meetup as a supporter or audience member only (and not perform) please RSVP for the Masterclass I: Audience Meetup. This is an open format Masterclass meaning all instruments/vocals are welcomed (future Meetup may focus on specific instrumentation). Each player will be allowed between 20-25 minutes which includes performance time and feedback time. We have this facility for 3 hours. Usually pieces should be no longer than 10 minutes, leaving 10-15 minutes for audience feedback, but if you have a longer work that you would prefer not to have to excerpt, please go ahead and play it! This meetup will be head at The Hearthstone in Greenlake. Please refer to these two documents for details: Directions to Hearthstone ( Hearthstone Facility Use ( Please Note: I'm not sure if this space has music stands. Please be prepared to bring your own.

What we're about

This group is for all classical musicians including amateurs, students, professionals, semi-professionals and composers to perform music for their peers in a no-pressure environment. This is a place where one can make mistakes, (as many mistakes as you need!) get encouragement, feedback and make friends. All instruments welcome!

We have the Hearthstone chapel (and its Steinway grand piano) reserved from 7:00 to 9:00 the fourth Friday of every month. There is really no limit to how many can attend. Time permitting, we go around the room a 2nd or even a 3rd time so musicians can end up playing all the movements in a sonata, if they wish!

This group is perfect for:

1) If you studied classical music college or high school and want to perform again for peers
2) Professional or amateur classical music performers and composers who want to try pieces out before a performance

Join us for an encouraging, low-key environment to share your passion for music and make like-minded friends!

Special thanks to Ben Klinger of Classic Pianos for paying the Meetup monthly charge! He runs a great piano store in Bellevue - go check it out and say hello and thank you!
