This five-week series will teach you the basics of Open-Role swing dancing. What is Open-Role dancing? In Open-Role partner dance, the lead AND the follow role are both OPEN, and every student learns the basics of each role. This makes possible:
1) Playful dancing at a higher skill level, beginning earlier in one's learning process.
2) Changing roles between songs - dance with anyone you choose!
3) Role-swapping mid-dance - sometimes surprising, often silly, always FUN when both partners are OPEN to open-role dancing!
We'll meet in 7-8PM for five Tuesdays, February 19th - March 19th.
Room 32 at the Phinney Center, in the brick building. Course fee is $65 for the 5 week session, payable by cash or check on the first day of class, or $55 if you register before the 12th of February by RSVPing here on Meetup or via the Dance Kepler website:
Note: This class can be taken alone, and is a prerequisite for those of you interested in my Open-Role Smooth-Style Lindy, which will be offered Apr 2nd - Apr 30th.
