Companion Planting For Fig Trees

Howdy, I purchased a great fig tree from Village Green Perennials and it was blessed by Vera so it is sure to grow...I decided to plant it in my front yard SouthEast light and make a shabby chic wall to retain heat on the North side of it. Any suggestions for companion plants? I have grown figs successfully by accident in the past. I have been reading that they like Rue and dislike basil...any other ideas...? Thanks Sunny.

I have no clue but I'm watching this post with great interest because I intend to plant a couple of fig trees at the house we're looking to buy.
