Monthly Wine Social and Critique: RAIN
Each month for over 4 years, 15-25 photographers of all levels get together to discuss each other's images with emphasis on composition. The beginners learn from the pros, the pros learn from each other and we all have a good time with wine/beer to boot. Join us for at Vino on the Landing in Renton for a Monday evening for our monthly Wine & Critique Social. THIS MONTH'S THEME: RAIN Composition is important. Consider balance, space, simplicity, shape and central composition when creating your image. The less distractions there are in the frame, the more effective a central composition becomes. If the subject has a strong shape, the empty space around it emphasizes the shape. And the square format provides the perfect, balanced frame. Bring your 5 images on a flash drive or SD card. Images should be taken within 30 days prior to the meetup. There is usually a waiting list on these meetups. Please do not RSVP and not show up. Honestly, cancelling an hour before the event is the same as being a no-show! Preference will be given to those who have donated to the club during the current year and/or have not no-showed past Vino events. Vino at the Landing has given us their private space for almost 5 years. They don't charge us their usual fee of $1100! Please consider having dinner and drinks with us to make this an ongoing event.
