HSP Meet & Greet at Tully's

Our monthly HSP meet and greet is an informal get together at the Tully's Coffee at 19th Ave E & Aloha in Seattle (Capitol Hill, basically), starting at 2:00pm on Sunday, April 14th, 2013.

It's an opportunity for group members to get to know each other in a casual and low stress setting, as well as a chance for new members to meet "old" members.

These events are "self-directing," which means there is not a formal host nor an "agenda" for the meetup. Typically those members who have been in the group for a while guide and help newcomers feel welcome. There is no formal ending time for the meetup; sometimes the conversation has still been going strong at 5:00pm.

The actual street address of Tully's is[masked]th Avenue East. There is SOME street parking nearby-- usually it's not too difficult to find a spot, since we meet on Sundays. If you get lost or need directions, their phone number is (206)[masked].

Those souls who are feeling adventurous may like to go to The Washington Arboretum afterwards on East Lake Washington Blvd. or somewhere else. A few times in the past we've gone to the nearby Japanese Gardens, which is a very peaceful "HSP-friendly" location. Who knows?

We are, as always, open to suggestions. See you there?

Had to wait until today to realize that I haven't healed enough from toe surgery to be out and about too much, especially in places where my "boot" could be inadvertently stepped on. Look forward to next month!

I'm so sorry to cancel, but my brother's birthday is also this weekend, and I feel like it's too much social activity at once. I really enjoyed the last one and hope to see you next month!:)

Yes, it's so amazing and beautiful. A trip to some gardens after coffee does sound nice....
