How to Hire an SEO Agency, and How Much to Pay Them

How to Hire an SEO Expert, and What to Expect to Pay

Considered hiring an Internet marketing company? Maybe an SEO provider? This workshop is for you. Tim will help you answer

  • Is Search marketing right for your business, and if so, which version. SEO? PPC? A mix? What other forms of Internet (or offline) marketing might work as well, or better. What services should your provider offer, even if you may not need them immediately.
  • How to hire the best Search marketer, for the lowest cost. How to separate the reliable providers from the snake oil salesmen. Is a freelance contractor better than an agency? Whether to hire an overseas provider versus an American versus a Seattle-based firm.
  • What does good Search marketing cost. What are the variables that affect the price, and is it better to pay a flat fee versus hourly.
  • How to verify results and ensure you are receiving a positive ROI for your marketing budget

Tim Schmitt leads the internet marketing team for Explore Consulting, helping their clients gain qualified visitors to their website and convert into sales.  Tim is the webmaster for seolord.net, and tweets from @lethalwit.

I did not stay for the entire session, so, not sure what the finish was like, so I was disappointed that the meeting started finally @ 6:45 and I left @ 7:30 and heard nothing to do with cost after 1.5 hours.

There are so many moving parts to great SEO. I know there are not a lot of standardized certifications for those who work on the web, but I feel like there should be mandatory continuing ed classes for sure! Tim did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. I came away with some useful information and I appreciated Tim's willingness to share his insights.
