What we're about

This is a group for people working at small software development companies (1 to 50 people) to discuss their unique challenges and experiences and share their strategies and solutions for operating effectively at a small scale.

The format is an informal round table. A few suggested topics:

- Software development practices
- Finding new customers and clients
- Recruiting talent, especially technical
- Balancing quality and growth
- Cloud-based architecture
- Staying current and maintaining awareness
- Time management
- Remote work and managing distributed teams

We hold events every two weeks to two months at rotating casual bar locations in downtown Seattle on weekday nights.

Working at a small organization presents a different set of challenges than a large organization, and help is much less accessible. Let's create a common space to share expertise, build skills, find mentors, make contacts, and advance all of us together!
