Join us for a unique, interactive evening of playful singing, movement and expression. Our voice expresses so much of our Self – get ready to own it! You’ll be welcomed into a journey of finding and strengthening your natural voice – whether you think you’re a singer or not. Be prepared to laugh and surprise yourself as you let your voice out.
Everyone is welcome. No singing or musical experience needed.
Led by Grace, a singing and acting teacher for two decades, this class will be one where we playfully make mistakes, let our imperfections shine and embrace our inner child in a loving container. We’ll start with meditation, end with relaxation and play in between!
Our evening of expression includes:
-Games to awaken your inner child
-Playful speaking activities to build confidence in your natural voice
-Movement and body awareness practices
-Singing exercises to strengthen your voice
-Songs to awaken your heart and connect with community
-A safe and loving container to make mistakes and share your perfect imperfections.
$10-20 donation at the door welcome. No one turned away for lack of funds.
Note: Currently STC has limited ADA accessibility. Our practice and meeting space has no stairs and is wheelchair accessible. However, our bathroom currently does not fit a wheelchair. (We are hoping to remedy this in early 2019). We will do our best to accommodate the physical needs of all bodies. If you have questions or concerns about your accessibility in our space, please contact [masked].
