Every Monday night we’ll gather to learn and practice meditation. Themes will vary from Yoga Nidra, a guided deep relaxation, to Heart-Centered practices, to the foundations of meditation to mindfulness to healing journeys inward. No experience necessary, all are welcome. $20 donation at the door recommended.
Tonglen is one of the most powerful practices of giving and receiving compassion. We’ll start with a brief intro and spend our time practicing Tonglen Compassion Meditation on ourselves and on others. We’ll also connect with how to make compassion a more intentional part of our daily lives.
Note: Currently STC has limited ADA accessibility. Our practice and meeting space has no stairs and is wheelchair accessible. However, our bathroom currently does not fit a wheelchair. (We are hoping to remedy this in early 2019). We will do our best to accommodate the physical needs of all bodies.
