In the second part of our two-part series about network and operational security, Norman Shamas will discuss common security risks and threat modeling to reduce/predict web security issues. This is intended to be a follow-up to the previous Meetup presentation, and should be accessible to new developers learning in this space.
Norman Shamas is a digital security and education professional. They primarily work with human rights organizations and marginalized communities to improve their use of technology and develop key skills around digital security and risk assessment. Norman is a new transplant to Seattle and enjoys music, beers, and the outdoors (making them a perfect candidate for the pacific northwest :D)
The SU Web Developers Meetup is open to everyone. This event is sponsored by the SU Web Development Certificate program.
