Meetup Description: Please join us for an unexpected opportunity for an evening with Ben Saboonchian, senior documentary producer for KIRO-TV. He is the instructor of the upcoming 911 Seattle Media Center's course: Summer Documentary Intensive starting May 5th. This will be a unique chance to hear and ask questions about Ben's experiences from an inside perspective of network broadcast. He will share several examples of his award winning work from "Strange but Not a Stranger" a 1984 film about the punk rock culture; to his 2008 ?Cold Facts About Our Warm Planet,? a documentary that searches for evidence of global warming in the Northwest. Saboonchian's documentary work spans 28 years and includes 45 films and programs primarily focusing on the outdoors.

And if you are curious about this summer's Documentary Film Intensive at 911 Seattle Media Arts center, you will be able to learn what this course is all about.

I realize this is a short notice. I sincerely hope that you can take the time to attend.
