RE: [skiing-49] off season training on road bikes

Hi, I'm interested in this, coming from Bothell area.  I am a novice cyclist and have no idea about pacing, speed, etc.  I'm interested in ride share if that works for anybody.

I would like to garner interest in an eastside Mercer Island weekly or 2x a week bike ride around the island. In the off season I figure some of you are cyclists and would like to train for pacing/pace line and speed improvement by forming a group that rides together. I would like to shoot for a 5 or 6pm ride on weeknights so I look forward to feedback from people about the timing that might work best. I would like to shoot for an average speed of 18mph by September and look forward to hearing from those of you who would like to train this way. Thanks, Allison
