World IA Day Registration Update

I just wanted to update you all on the election for ASIS&T PNW (our meetup sponsoring organization) and World IA Day event we mentioned at the last meetup.

First off, a giant Thank You to Andrew Szydlowski for hosting these meetups for the last three years! Andy served as ASIS&T PNW Chapter Officer as well as IA meetup organizer and Infocamper extraordinaire and he now gets to enjoy the meetups as a participant. Give him a high 5 when you see him. Isaac Pattis & Misty Weaver are pleased to join as the new meetup organizers.

ASIS&T PNW Chapter Elections

If you are a member of ASIS&T and also this meetup, please consider supporting this chapter and meetup by taking on an officer role this year.

Please nominate yourself or someone you consider a good candidate a position (3rd party nominations will have to be confirmed):



* Nominations are now open and will wrap-up January 22nd.
* Election will being via email or web survey on January 24th and is open to all ASIS&T PNW Members.
* Elections close January 30th at 11:59pm.
* Election results will be announced February 2nd.
