What would you like to learn about Indian food or share with others?

I would like to move beyond Butter chicken. My neighborhood's Indian restaurants (which I love) tend to serve one and the same (delicious) marsala in every dish. Maybe with a larger group of knowledgeable people, we can get a larger variety of interesting stuff.

If you have a favorite spice, what is it?

Not really, I like them all.

What is your favorite Indian dish or what would you like to learn to make?

Would love to learn how to make Sambar/Sambhar? - in any case the South Indian lentil soup. South Indian food in general; food with whole spices...

Introduction

hi, I am a former member; I just moved back to Seattle and would love to rejoin.
