GiveCamp is a weekend-long event where software developers, designers, UX, and database administrators donate their time to create custom software for charities and non-profit organizations. This custom software could be a new website, a small data-collection application to keep track of volunteers, or help with data migration. This year our volunteers will donate about $500,000 worth of services to charity. The nonprofits that come to us work on anything from health in third world countries to hunger, runaway teens, and battered women right here in Washington.
