What we’re about
Second Half Rally is a group for experienced life veterans who like active recreation and sharing good times. We enjoy activities such as recreational hiking, kayaking, festivals, concerts, good eats & drinks, and exploring cool places. Our one simple goal is to have FUN!
We chose the name Second Half Rally because all of us share that life situation chronologically, even though we don’t feel like it. If you’re basically a kid who wants to go outside and play with friends, you should fit with our group.
"Put me in coach! I’m ready to play... TODAY!”
1. Our primary goal at every event is to HAVE FUN. Other groups tend to focus on biking, hiking, or kayaking led by serious aficionados. Too often, they never get around to having fun.
2. All members MUST post a clear personal photo showing their face so we can recognize each other at meetups to help build a comfortable sense of community.
3. Our group is friendly and welcoming, but we don’t tolerate whiners, jerks, dorks, or anyone else who spoils the fun for the rest of us. People who don't fit with the group are quickly removed from membership.
MEMBERSHIP IN SECOND HALF RALLY IS FREE! IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, JUST REMEMBER YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...

See all- Taste of St. Michaels WalkaboutWaterfront Park, St. Michaels, MD
Join us for a relaxing walk around historic St. Michaels to enjoy the sights while trying local food and drinks along the way. Taste of St. Michaels is an annual event featuring affordable samples from participating restaurants and shops. Our group had a great time there last year!
MEETUP LOCATION
We will first gather at Waterfront Park at the end of Chew Ave. It's a nice town park away from the harbor area with free parking on adjacent neighborhood streets. The park is located two blocks from Talbot St. which is the main road through St. Michaels. See the attached map for exact location.
ST. MICHAELS WALKABOUT
Starting at Waterfront Park, our group will walk a short distance along the adjacent bike trail to Railroad Ave. which will lead us into St. Michaels towards the harbor and center of town where most restaurants, shops, and historic buildings are located. Total walking distance should be approximately two to three miles.
St. Michaels has a nice online walking tour that highlights its key homes and buildings with background information about each one. It's a good place to quickly learn more about the places we will pass on our walk. Check it out below:
