Early Dinner: Beer dinner

  • Oct 6, 2013 · 5:00 PM

Thomas and I are writing a menu with foods that will be paired with local beers. The format will be the same but instead we will be exploring New England craft beers. The wine program that is usually available will be replaced with beer for this event.  the suggested donation for dinner is $40. An donation of $20 for the beer program, payable the day of the event.

Though I've tried a wide variety - oddly enough no Bud - have yet to find "the one". But I am very encouraged by your words. Thanks.

April - I never liked beer until I started trying beers other than Bud. Now I'm a big craft beer fan. There are fruit beers, pumpkin beers, wheat beers and all sorts of other flavors far beyond Bud and the like. I'm sure you'll try at least one that will surprise you.

OK - this is going to be a real challenge for me. I've never enjoyed beer but on the other hand Marianne has made some unappealing foods taste really great. So if anyone can do it, it will be you, Marianne. Putting myself in your hands.
