What we're about

Living here or just a tourist? Come and explore some of the more unusual, hidden and off the beaten track parts of Paris. Abandoned Railways, hidden parks, industrial history, off-the track foodie suburbs and more. We aim to run regular events for limited numbers at a small fee to help you discover all the places that you won't find in a guidebook or on any commercial tour of Paris.

All with an English speaking local guide and a chance to socialise and grab a drink after the event in a local cafe.

Follow us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/secretparistours/) too and check out our sister company 'Delicious Paris Tours' (https://www.facebook.com/DeliciousParisTours)

NOTE for visitors to Paris: If you are interested in a previous tour that we are not currently running or visiting for short trip note we do CUSTOMIZED private tours - just drop us a line (http://m.me/secretparistours) for further info!

Dead famous! (Halloween tour) Cemetery of Montparnasse

Café Oz Denfert Rochereau

Join us on a tour in honour of the day of the dead and Halloween! Paris had a unique relationship with its 'no-longer breathing' residents. From the Catacombs, with the remains of over 6 million Parisians, to the 1800's cemeteries that replaced the central ones as the city expanded. Join us as we begin our tour talking about the catacombs (both the open and the very forbidden parts) before taking a walk thru Montparnasse cemetery, resting place of many famous people of the artistic and intellectual elite. From Jean-Paul Sartre to Samuel Beckett there are poets, politicians, artists and philosophers as well as many war heroes awarded the Legion of Honour. We will finish at Montparnasse, an area full of Breton crepe restaurants and speak of some of the ghosts of the poor artists and creatives who once filled it's cafes dance halls and cinemas in the early part of the 1900's. Meet: Denfert Rochereau (outside Cafe Oz) Cost: 15 euro
