Choiceless Awareness Meditation

Kieran will lead us in a Choiceless Awareness meditation.

This link has some background on it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choiceless_awareness

and this picks up on the same theme

http://springwatercenter.org/meditation/

We'll have a discussion after the meditation, and if there is interest, go out for a bite to eat in Harvard Square.

I have a job fair tomorrow and have to get up earlier than usual, so I'll sit this one out. Have a good meditation!

I’d say the pith of the Springwater link above (the second link) is in the latter half, from the paragraph that begins “there are two aspects…” on. Also this dialogue about the bodily aspect is great -- to counteract any impression that choiceless awareness/silent illumination is some philosophical exercise:

Ooh! Really great! I just reread it! CHECK it peeps! (The "Two Bodies" dialogue I mean).
