Thank for the email.  How about Bogani''s on 11th St. & 23rd Ave. It's a nice quiet, fairly large, non-chain kind of place where you can get a wide variety of drinks & food.
I look forward to getting tog.
I also like the idea of the movie.

Subject: [EdmontonSecularHumanists] Edmonton Secular Humanist Meetup Information

Good Morning Everyone,

I thought I would send an email going into what is going to be a great weekend.  I hope you all take some time and enjoy it.

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you want to send me event details for any charity events coming up that would be great.  I can add them to our calendar and maybe we can get more people involved in your event.  Along that line the Santa's Anonymous Toy Run is happening this Sunday so if you have a motorcycle let me know or come down to Capilano Mall at 9:30am and we can ride together.  Don't forget your toy(s)!

The other item that I would really like some help on is meetup venues and activities.  We have a meetup scheduled for October 2nd and I know it will be fun because the last one was, and the one before that, etc, etc.  However the Starbucks isn't an ideal venue so please, send me some ideas for reasonably quiet venues where people can talk.  I really need your input.  We don't have to just meet for coffee either, a suggestion was made that we could, en-masse, go see "Capitalism: A Love Story".  I think that is a great idea.  More ideas of this type are very much appreciated.

Also, it would be great if you could come to the meetup on Oct. 2nd.  If you haven't been to one and you like talking to intelligent people about engaging topics, you'll really enjoy yourself.

I sincerely hope to meet you all at a meetup soon.

Thank your very much for your time and enjoy the weekend,
