As more organisations adopt cloud-based systems, new complexities and challenges surface and the risks increase. Organisations need cloud security professionals with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to be able to audit, assess and secure cloud infrastructures. In response to this, (ISC)² and the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) have developed the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification. This credential validates practical know-how for professionals whose responsibilities involve cloud security architecture, design, operations and service orchestration. WHO IS IT FOR? The course is designed for individuals whose responsibilities involve procuring, securing, and managing cloud environments or purchased cloud services. To kick the course off, we would like to invite you to a FREE information session to provide you with a detailed overview of what our program offers and answer all of your questions. This free information session will be held on Wednesday, April 10th, 2019 with the course commencing on May 1st, 2019. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years cumulative paid work experience in information technology, of which 3 years must be in information security and 1 year in 1 or more of the 6 domains of the CCSP CBK. A candidate that doesn’t have the required experience to become a CCSP may become an Associate of (ISC)² by successfully passing the CCSP examination. The Associate of (ISC)² will then have 6 years to earn the 5 years required experience. Secure That Cert! brings to the community a budget friendly alternative to get certified. Rather than spend thousands of dollars on a 5-day course where you are expected to drink from the fire hose, we want to take a different approach consisting of industry peers all working, at a learning-conducive pace, to take the same examination and secure their certification.
