Are you currently Therapy Certified and with what Therapy Organization? Do not proceed if you do not have a current therapy certification.

Yes, with Canines for Therapy. Also certified for R.E.A.D. and Red Rover Readers.

How often and when do you plan on being able to volunteer?

Mainly on the weekends, depending on the location and the time, I can do evening during the week. We are in Johnston County, right on the Wake County line, but can go anywhere within the Raleigh area.

What part of Wake County are you interested in volunteering with?

Libraries, Schools, or other facilities with the need for a pet therapy team.

Please add a short bio of why you are interested in the See Spot Read Calendar and a little about your companion therapy dog.

Been volunteering with See Spot Read for over a year and continue to be rewarded by the experiences with the kids and adults we encounter. Colden is a 60 lb German Shepherd mix who is gentle and loving. He is a great listener and has not met anyone he doesn't like. He quickly wins over everyone who meets him. Expect to be asked for a belly rub and in return. you have a faithful friend.

Introduction

Colden "Cole" and I are certified through Canines for Therapy as well as for R.E.A.D. Cole was adopted from JCAPL at 7 months of age and is a calm and easy going boy. Cole loves to cuddle and have his belly rubbed.
