Hello everyone! Our next Meetup will take place on Nov 21st at ironSource Mobile, 9 Ahad HaAm St. (Kolbo Shalom), Tel Aviv.
Our first talk will be given by Eran Nelinger (https://www.linkedin.com/in/eran-nelinger-5673845) from Google. If you think about tests rather than corn flakes whenever you hear the term "Flaky", this talk is for you. Eran will share some thoughts about the relationship between quality and culture, the battle of manual VS. automation, and the notion of test pyramid. In addition, he'll describe how they bake quality into products and processes at Google.
Test scripts can be as complex as product code. Even with a well-designed automation framework in place, debugging, reviewing and understanding how coded scripts relate to business requirements can be a challenging task for the business analyst, client and product manager. In our second talk, Liraz Shay (https://il.linkedin.com/in/liraz-shay-8a191816) from BurlingtonEnglish will demonstrate how his team is using SpecFlow (the official Cucumber implementation for .NET) to define their automated tests in plain English and allow developers, testers, analysts and product owners to participate in the testing process. The talk will include an overview of their Selenium-based automation framework and how it is used together with SpecFlow to create executable specifications. He will go over the main features of SpecFlow, show code examples, share best practices, and more.
