This is a special group that is for everyone. Everyone can learn and help each other grow. In this group, I will have meetings for:
Book review. Action implementation toward working on specifics from each book.
“Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.” — Jim Rohn
You can join other people in in my improv group. It will be a great way to meet others and be more loose, carefree. Open up, have better body language, and have fun with other people. One of the main reasons why I want to do improv is to: Making decisions with conviction, Loosening up and shaking it out. ...Laughing at yourself. ...Collaborating and reading the cues. ...Shifting your perspective., improv teaches us to soften our focus and heighten our awareness, so that we can respond well to surprises.
Humor. This is a key skill with people. I think you already know that. We love people who brighten our day in our job, while meeting new people, etc.
Storytelling. We all love good stories. How many stories do you have?
We might do Video recording for youtube. This is something I do on my free time. I will most likely not do this with the group. But if you want to record yourself and see how you are on video, you can mkae MAJOR improvements in your communication skills.
I am into self-improvement and I would like read books of self-improvement books with the group. The books of would give us incredible insights.
Why join? Because I follow the best people in the world who are key leaders such as Brian Tracy, Ekrtolle, Tim Ferris, Tony Robbins, and Dale Carnigie. I want to learn from them. If I have a book club meetup, I will hold them in a coffee shop or Panera. If you want to join me in this, and I will share with you.
I will start the meetings with book readings because I am currently in the middle of a book.
I have been working with other people on working on our communication skills. I have spent a great deal of my time watching seminars and listening to audiobooks from some of the best names in the field of self development. Social skills are some of the hardest things that I had to learn. I believe in following successful people in any field.
I was in New York City doing improv and working on other skills with other people.
If any individual interferes in our improvement I may remove them from this group. I firmly believe in setting standards.
