Our popular Birding Basics course will be offered again in January. Participants will have the option of attending on weekdays or weekends. This is a 4-session beginning bird-watching course designed for students of all ages. Each session includes classroom and field experience. Topics will include use of bird-watching tools, how to look at and identify birds, creating wildlife habitat and more. The Geneva Wilderness Area provides the perfect natural environment to start or continue building your skills.

Dates and times:
Tuesdays & Thursdays January 9, 14, 16, and 21 from 1:00-4:00 pm.
Weekends January 11, 18, 19, and 25 from 9 am – 12 noon.
Field Trip: The third class (Jan 16 or 19) will be a field trip to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
Cost of the full course is $30.00. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
