We are going to move through The Artist's Way practice and book together.
Instead of doing the practice week by week we will be doing it month by month. We'll meet once a month on Sunday mornings at Diva Espresso in Greenwood, a nice place for coffee, tea and baked goods. They have a variety of gluten-free pastries, too!

:: Reading the book and following the practices will be useful for our Meetup discussion, however you are welcome to come and participate without having read. The topic will be the focus of conversation and whatever was derived from it. You can complete the practices recommended in the book on your own and in your own way, then we will meet to discuss. I find this book to be highly relevant to highly sensitive people.
A word of caution, the book does use the word "God" and you are welcome to substitute that for any meaning that is useful for you. I find it useful to think about as order in the universe or whatever it is that creates and connects. However, this will not be a religious or spiritually affiliated group with a particular agenda for any kind of spiritual or religious practice. All different beliefs and ideas are welcome.
A creative practice of being an artist is SO useful for highly sensitive people who can lose track of this part of being as we get caught up in analyzing and overwhelm. I have found this book and practice to be very useful in grounding me into my own body and well-being. I hope you will join whichever months you can and even if you miss some or most of them, you are still welcome to come for whichever ones you can and would like to.
