How to find us

Hi Real Estate Entrepreneurs,

This month we're proud to welcome Turnkey and Crowdfunding expert, Jacob Blackett to our meetup.

After unsuccessfully learning from a 'guru' company in Southern CA and flipping two houses that both lost money, Jacob Blackett moved to Indianapolis where he threw himself into the local real estate market. He worked with a local investor who was purchasing, rehabbing and selling about 25 Turnkey properties a month. After two years of learning every aspect of the business and using technology to streamline everything, Jacob was ready to move out on his own.

He was intrigued by the Crowdfunding model and created a unique fund - instead of investing in 'hypothetical' properties or proformas, Jacob's company, Holdfolio (https://holdfolio.com/), actually purchases the properties first and then offers shares of the company to their investors for a minimum of $5,000.

Join us at this month's meetup as we ask Jacob:

* What went wrong with those flips?

* How were you able to repay his grandma the money he lost on those flips?

* What were the pros and cons of the turnkey model and is crowdfunding a superior model?

* What exactly is crowdfunding and how do you go about doing it?

And of course:

* How's the fund currently performing?

If you attended last month's meetup, then I'm sure you'll be ready to ask him questions about expenses, cap ex, repairs, turns, etc.

If you didn't and would like to brush up on some expenses to be aware of when it comes to turnkey properties, check out our Oct Recap
