Back to Wednesday evenings!

Hello Seth readers!

Greetings! I hope this email finds you well and happy!

As most of you know the Saturday schedule didn't work out, so we have changed back to Wednesday evenings from now on. This will fix it so more of you can attend. I think with summer approaching weekends will become even busier. So Wednesdays it is.

I know Meetup already sent you an automatic notice of the Saturday meeting, but of course that's not true.

Even though some of you weren't there, I thoroughly enjoyed the Saturday meeting, getting to know two new people who joined us, and hearing their fascinating stories. We read Chapter 1 in Seth Speaks. Seth lays the groundwork for his explanations of consciousness by saying: "Consciousness creates form. It is not the other way around. It is only because you are so busily concerned with daily matters that you do not realize that there is a portion of you who knows that its own powers are far superior to those shown by the ordinary self. You have each lived other existences, and that knowledge is within you though you are not consciously aware of it. I hope that this book will serve to release the deeply intuitive self within each of my readers, and to bring to the foreground of consciousness whatever particular insights will serve you most." He says that the ego limits our experience, and resists letting us experience other dimensions that are available to us.

Also, "I am aware of some truths that many of you seem to have forgotten. I hope to remind you of these. I do not speak so much to the part of you that you think of as yourself as to that part of you that you do not know, that you have to some extent denied and to some extent forgotten. I speak to those who believe in a god, and those who do not. I hope to give you clues that will enable you to study the nature of reality as you have never studied it before."

"The self that you know is but one fragment of your entire identity." He describes this concept further in the chapter.

"Nothing exists --- neither rock, mineral, plant, animal, or air --- that is not filled with consciousness of its own kind."

Seth ended the chapter by describing his relationship with Jane, and what happens to her when he speaks through her.

I know you'll enjoy reading chapter 1. Check it out if you have time before the 28th.

I hope to see you 7:00 pm Wednesday, the 28th!

Peace and love,
Jenny
