Why are you interested in shamanic wisdoms?

I like shamanic wisdoms because they focus on healing ourselves, others , and the earth. Although traditions are strong in individual cultures, i like the non dogmatic nature of working with the spiritual world. I began my studies as an open minded sceptic and have come to trust and believe in the spiritual wisdom that surrounds us.

Have you had much experience with shamanic ritual or ceremony?

I have worked for the past fifteen years under the directon of various shamans, journeying and working with spiritual entities. I have learned that my best tea chers at this point are spiritual ones. in Minnnesota, i belonged to a spiritual group, my Shaman Circle, which met monthly for ceremony, healing, and journeying

Do you put your physical , emotional or spiritual wellbeing in other peoples hands or do you take responsibility for yourself?

I am responsible for my physical, emotional, and spiritual well being. That is not to say that i do not rely on practitioners and support groups to help me.

What do you think happens when you die?

Based upon my work with spirits, i think that our spirits exist beyond the life of our bodies. Spirits also reside in the natural, world. Rocks and other objects help us to access these spirits.

my name is Zannah. I recently moved from Minnesota. I am a fiber artist focusing on the integration of native and european heritages. My work also includes social justice themes, and playful projects for seven grandchildren.
