Beginners workshop! We'll go over the very basics of exposing a frame in a camera. You'll learn about aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, and how they relate to one another to create a well-exposed image. The principles apply to everything from the iPhone to large format film. This is a comprehensive look at getting the desired exposure, from equipment selection (with some gear tips) to camera settings to metering to shutter release, and even relevant post-processing techniques.
If this goes well, I'd like to expand the Photo 101 series to include additional sessions on Focus, Composition, and more.
It's recommended that attendees bring their camera, whatever it may be, from point-and-shoot to full frame DSLR.
From Wikipedia: In photography, exposure is the amount of light allowed to fall on each area unit of a photographic medium (photographic film or image sensor) during the process of taking a photograph.
