5258 Old Homestead Rd., Sutton West, ON
Do you love to move to the beat of live drumming? This workshop is a unique experience to learn ancient drumming dances that originated from the Baga women of Guinea, West Africa.
Dunduns are large cylindrical bass drums played with sticks. When played these drums offer the medicine of connecting to your own personal strength and power. They also have the ability to help us invite healing rhythms of joy and possibility into our lives, while helping us to loosen old patterns and stuck energy.
You can come to do deep inner work, or simply enjoy the fun and energizing experience of communal drum and dance. Unleash your inner dancer and drummer in a welcoming, supportive and nourishing environment!
Limited to 20 women. Drums are available if you need one.
No experience required.
Bring comfy clothes for dancing in and a water bottle.
