The fourth meeting of SheffieldR, the Sheffield R Users Group, will be held on Wednesday November 13th from[masked]pm in Lecture Theatre 3 on F Floor in the Medical School at the University of Sheffield.
There will be 2 elements:
1. A talk by Simon Cross about using R to get data from the web
2. A discussion of how we want the R Group to progress. Simon Cross is struggling to run regular meetings and Jon Minton, the other co-organiser, has moved to Glasgow. If the group is going to continue running then we need more volunteers to help organise it (not an onerous task) and more suggestions/volunteers for future events/talks.
The meeting is free and anyone interested in R, even if you a complete newcomer to R, is welcome.
