    The Shenango Valley Gardeners presents their 5th Annual “Tour of Treasures “ Garden Tour which features private and community gardens in Sharpsville, Sharon, Farrell and West Middlesex. The tour begins with registration in front of the Mehler Insurance Agency auxiliary storefront in the Sharpsville Plaza, located at 62 E. Shenango Street Sharpsville Pa 16150 between Walnut Ave and Mercer Ave.,and then follows through homes in Sharpsville and Sharon, Community Gardens at Penn State, First Presbyterian Church and River Gardens Park. The Mannaechor Club hops gardens, the community garden in Farrell and finally a home garden in West Middlesex ends our tour. Tickets will be available the day of registration at the Mehler Insurance auxiliary storefront in the Sharpsville Plaza or online by purchasing with Eventbrite on our website SVGardeners.org

    The Tuesday, June 3, 2019 meeting of the Shenango Valley Gardeners will meet at the First Presbyterian Church 600 E State Street Sharon PA. 16146. We will meet in in room 123 of the church hall. Time: 6-8 pm Agenda: Garden Tour, First Presbyterian Church garden, volunteers schedule, treasurers report, various garden tour visits in July and August, Wetlands Tour report.   • Annual Spring Plant Sale

    Sharon City Center

    The Shenango Valley Gardeners are sponsoring their annual fundraising Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 4 in conjunction with the Downtown Sharon Spring Fling. Our booth is located on the corner of West State and South Water Streets across from the McDonalds restaurant. An assortment of flower and vegetable plants will be available to purchase. This event helps to fund our Tour Of Treasures Garden Tour in July as well as other programs throughout the year. Please stop by our booth early because we close as soon as we sell out.

    First Presbyterian Church

    The Shenango Valley Gardeners will have another cleanup and planting at the Flower Cutting Garden behind the First Presbyterian Church in Sharon. We are setting up a compost bin to recycle the garden waste and spreading new garden soil in the raised flower beds. Hope you can join us!
