I’ll provisionally book this in for the Bank Holiday Monday.
If anyone hasn’t been before the Gibside is a National Trust site which dates back to the 18th century with miles of woodland, riverside walks and views across the Derwent Valley.
There are 4 suggested walking routes on their map so we can probably decide the route on the day depending on whether people fancy a 1 hour or 2 hour walk.
Meet up point will be the information centre by the car park ( Please check the website for exact location as I can’t be sure the map pin is 100% accurate)
*Please note the entrance fee is around £13 as the site is part of the National Trust.
**Please also note (as the site is in a valley)- some areas are very steep !
*** Finally please note we need at least 5/6 people for the event to take place
