Moab, UT, Moab, UT
Please be aware of the change in dates for this outing. It was posted in the ECHO as beginning Oct. 10. I have moved the dates up due to a scheduling conflict. We will now meet in Moab on Oct. 6, and begin paddling downriver on the 7th taking out on the 11th of Oct.
The cost of this trip is $225 which includes the canoes (but not kayaks), the shuttles, the food in camp, the BLM fees, and equipment. You will need tent, sleeping bag and pad. A detailed list of what to bring (and not bring) will be provided. Most of the river will be along the proposed Red Rock Wilderness. There are many interesting historical, archaeological features along the River. Birding is also excellent. Bring binoculars and cameras. Contact the leaders for more information.
