BMHS Mission Preserve 3 Peaks Hike

(11mi, 2800') Arrive at the Stanford Ave. entrance to Mission Preserve ( at 9:15am for a 9:30am start: Mission Preserve is extremely popular so it will take some time to find parking. If the lot is full, park on Stanford Ave. We will take the little used Horse Heaven trail to scale the three highest peaks of Mission Preserve: Monument peak, Mount Alison, and Mission Peak stopping for lunch along the way. Horse Heaven trail is extremely steep; this is not a beginners hike! You can find a trail map with the likely route here:

Carpool will leave from the Charleston Park parking lot on Charleston Road across from Joaquin Rd. in Mountain View at 8:45. See for location.

In case of rain, the hike will be shortened.
