Palos Verdes-South Bay Sierra Club Group

Strenuous 2 hr, 5-8 mi hike, flat/hilly streets/trails. Up to 5 hiking groups: slow, slow mod, mod, fast mod, fast. Not for beginners. Meet in the Peninsula Center parking lot near Hawthorne & Silver Spur (in the parking lot in front of Habit Burger Grill). No dogs. Please come early to sign the waiver. Leaders - Bill Lavoie and Keven Schlunegger. Please note that the hike leaves at 6:30 sharp.

(Updated 7/2021) Moderate 2 hr. 4-6 mile hike: Some streets, some trails overlooking the ocean, and city lights. Some steep trails. Only one group, not for beginners. Arrive early, leave at 6:00 P.M. every Monday from Rancho Del Mar School off Crest Rd east of Crenshaw: (Do not use Google or Apple maps to get you to the school. They will try to take you thru gated roads) At the top of the hill on Crenshaw, go east on Crest Rd (left if you came up Crenshaw). Just before the Rolling Hills entrance gate, bear right and continue to the second parking lot at the very end (behind the school).

Wear sturdy shoes or lug sole boots and bring a red lens flash light for winter times. Rain cancels. Ldr. Bill Lavoie, Kevin Schlunegger, or Zoltan Stroll.
