Before, during and after photos of a recent residential landscape project will be used to demonstrate the value of conserving and protecting our natural resources when designing your landscape. Increasing biodiversity and enriching wildlife habitat with an emphasis on plantings for pollinators will be featured. Practical design ideas will include: reducing lawn area, use of native plants and edibles, organic plant care, and vertical gardens. Our presenter Jay Archer is the founder and primary designer of Green Jay Landscaping, a Go Green New York Landscape Design/Build & Maintenance company serving the region. Refreshments by Greenburgh Nature Center at 7:00, program starts at 7:30.
