This hike has been really popular, so we've decided to continue doing it as long as anyone is interested in coming to it. It's an easy hike and takes about 2 hours at a slow pace.
We meet and park near the one lane bridge just past the Carr House visitor center.
From the bridge we hike on the road uphill for 2 miles till we reach the middle falls. There we enjoy a great view of Sierra Vista from the overlook and water in the pools at the top of the falls.
I'm a slow hiker, so it shouldn't be hard to keep up with me. But I'm willing to go slower if needed. No one will be left behind. If a group wants to go faster that's ok too.
There is also an option to hike farther if anyone is interested in doing that. The Reef Townsite is two miles farther up the road and has interesting old mining equipment and more awesome views :)
Dogs are welcome. Don't forget to bring water for them and a leash.
