Please share a little about who you are and your interest in this meetup; do you do work related to vehicles or transportation now?

The Velodyne Lidar has 64 spinning Lasers that produce amazing data to translate the world into 3D space. I am President of Velodyne and we are looking for partners to get the robotic cars off the ground. American car companies are far too narrow minded. Tell me your ideas.

Introduction

My partner is David Hall, inventor of the Velodyne Lidar. The Lidar is key to robotic cars. The winning cars in DARPA used the Velodyne Lidar.
